Overview
- Remove the payment service from Xero.
- Deactivate Square Payment Service to stop using Square as a payment service in Xero.
How it works
Removing the Square Payment Service from Xero will remove the option for customers to pay the invoice using their credit card through Square.

Log in to your Xero account and go to Settings by clicking your business name at the top left corner.

Go to Invoice Settings and Edit the branding theme where the Square Payment Service is active.

Put the cursor on the Payment Services (Credit Card) field and delete the text.

Click OK.
Deactivate Square Payment Service from the integration settings:

Open the integration settings.

On the left navigation panel, click Features.

Toggle OFF the Payment Service option and click Save + Continue.
