COLLECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
5. We collect your personal information in two ways: from your input and automatically from your use. The following personal data is captured via your direct input: 5.1. Contact information (first name, last name, email, phone, company details). 5.2. Billing information (billing address, shipping address, order history, products order, payment method). 5.3. Unique identifiers (user name, account number, password). 5.4. Preferences information (profile picture, communication preferences). 6. There are many aspects of the site, which can be viewed without providing personal information. However, in order to obtain a licence for the use of Amaka IO’ products and services, and for access to future Amaka IO support features, you are required to submit personally identifiable information. This may include but not limited to a unique username and password, or sensitive personal information to assist in the recovery of your lost password. 7. The following information is collected automatically so we can tell how you use our services and website: 7.1. IP address. 7.2. Computer, device, connection information (browser type, version, operating system, device, ISP, location). 7.3. Browsing data, such as referring and exit pages, search terms you use, pages you visited, how long you visit the website for, date and timestamp of your visits.

8. We use the following third-party services that store your personal information: 8.1. Google Analytics (to track user activity anonymously); 8.2. Mailchimp (for newsletters and marketing emails); 8.3. Stripe (to securely process your payments); 8.4. Hubspot (to manage our business interactions with you); 8.5. Olark (to let you contact us via chat in real time); and 8.6. Atlassian Service Desk (to let you submit support tickets and general enquiries).

12. We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
13. We will take reasonable technical and organisational precautions to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of your personal information. 14. We will store all the personal information you provide on a secure (password- and firewall-protected) servers, accessible only by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems and are required to keep the information confidential. In addition, all sensitive/credit information you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. 15. You acknowledge that the transmission of information over the internet is inherently insecure, and we cannot guarantee the security of data sent over the internet. 16. You are responsible for keeping any password(s) you use for accessing our website confidential; we will not ask you for your password (except when you log in to our website).
INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFER

You have a right to instruct is not to process your personal information for marketing purposes. To opt out from our newsletter and marketing emails, please use the Unsubscribe link in the bottom of our emails or contact us on [email protected]. 21. You may request to deactivate your account or delete your personal information by contacting [email protected]. We will endeavour to fulfil your request according to our policies, but some personal information may remain in the backup copies for a certain period of time.
