Updating the accounts mapping

  • Accounts and payment types mappings can be accessed by selecting Advanced setup.
  • Map sales, discounts, payments and other accounts.

You can update the accounts mapping in your integration settings at any time. If an account was previously used for mapping and you edited or deleted it, it might cause the account to be unmapped from the integration. Updating your integration’s accounts mapping is necessary to prevent sync issues.

Navigating the integration setup

View and edit your accounts mapping by following the steps below:

  1. Sign in to your Amaka integration account.
  2. Click the integration you would like to update and Edit.
  3. On the left navigation panel, click Features and select Advanced Features.
  4. Click Save + Continue.
  5. On the left navigation panel, click Settings → Accounts or Payment Types.
  6. Review the mapping and map an account from the dropdown for each field.
  7. Click Save + Continue.

Note that the integration filters the accounts by type. Only account types suitable for each transaction type will be shown in the dropdown to reduce bookkeeping errors.
