A Message from the Amaka Founders

Over the last nine years, Amaka has been focused on one thing: helping businesses connect their systems and automate the flow of data.

What started as a small Australian startup has grown into infrastructure used by more than 50,000 merchants globally, supporting over 30 integrations and powering billions of dollars in transaction volume each year. Along the way, we’ve built official partnerships with companies including Xero, Square, MYOB and Yoco.

Today, we’re announcing the next chapter of Amaka.

We are becoming an AI-first company.

We believe artificial intelligence will fundamentally change how businesses interact with software. In the future, businesses won’t spend their time navigating multiple systems, configuring workflows or manually moving information between platforms. Instead, they will communicate intent, and intelligent systems will coordinate the work.

We believe the future is outcome-driven.

Over the last decade, we’ve helped businesses automate data movement.

The next decade is about automating outcomes.

Our vision is simple: businesses should be able to describe what they want to achieve in natural language, and Amaka should orchestrate the actions required across their technology stack.

This includes creating integrations using natural language, automating workflows across multiple systems, and enabling intelligent coordination between platforms. As part of this journey, we are investing heavily in technologies such as AI agents, Model Context Protocol (MCP), agent-to-agent communication (A2A), workflow orchestration and intelligent automation.

Importantly, we do not believe AI reduces the importance of the integration layer.

We believe the opposite is true.

As AI becomes the interface, access to reliable data, trusted actions and connected systems becomes even more critical. The businesses that succeed will be those with strong infrastructure foundations that allow AI to operate safely, accurately and at scale.

This is where Amaka has spent the last nine years building expertise.

Our focus remains the same: helping businesses work smarter through automation. The tools will change, the interfaces will evolve, but the mission remains constant.
